WordPress plugin

See the visitors AI sends your WordPress site — no theme code.

The Promvia plugin from the WordPress plugin directory adds Promvia's tracking to your pages, proves you own the domain and, if you want, puts the fixes you approve in Promvia on your site. You paste one site id; everything else happens in Promvia.

Set it up in a few minutes

  1. Install the plugin

In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New, search for “Promvia”, then install and activate it. You can also download it from the WordPress plugin directory.

  2. Paste your site id

In Promvia → Sites, copy your site's id (site_…) and paste it into Settings → Promvia. The tracking script then loads on your pages, deferred, with one first-party cookie. Your own logged-in editing sessions stay out of the numbers by default.

  3. Ownership, usually automatic

With the script on your home page, Promvia verifies the site by itself. If you load the script only after consent, paste the meta tag from Promvia → Sites into the same settings page instead. No DNS record needed.

  4. Fixes without code (optional)

On a paid plan, open a fix in Promvia, choose Publish without code and paste the feed address into “Approved fixes feed”. The plugin then serves your organization's structured data, /llms.txt and the robots.txt lines that let AI search crawlers in, and removes them when you stop publishing.

What it does and does not do

  • Every visitor sees the same page, people and AI crawlers alike. Nothing is shown only to crawlers.
  • It works with your cookie banner: if your consent plugin exposes the WP Consent API (Complianz, CookieYes, Cookiebot and others), the script waits for statistics consent.
  • It changes only what WordPress itself serves. A real robots.txt or llms.txt file on your server is left alone, and training crawlers stay as you set them.
  • On Pro and Agency it can also create an application password, so Promvia saves articles to your site as drafts. Nothing is published without you.
  • Uninstalling removes its settings and its cached copy of your fixes. It creates no tables and schedules nothing.

Which plans

The plugin itself is free. AI visitor tracking and ownership verification work on every Promvia plan, Free included. Serving approved fixes needs a paid plan; saving drafts to WordPress needs Pro or Agency.
